The Evergreen State College women's basketball team will close out the 2019-20 regular season on the road. The Geoducks will see College of Idaho on Friday, Eastern Oregon on Saturday and Northwest on Tuesday. All games will be played at 5:30 p.m.
About Evergreen: The Geoducks are 6-14 overall and 6-11 in conference play. Evergreen closed out the home portion of the schedule last weekend defeating Warner Pacific in overtime and Multnomah. The Geoducks are led by
Trinity Betoney, who averages 21 points per game and leads on the rebounds with an average of 8.1.
Jerri Maluyo averages 11.6 points per game and
Anna Cook averages 10.8 points per game.
About College of Idaho: The Yotes are 10-15 overall and 8-8 in conference play. College of Idaho lost both games last weekend against Warner Pacific and Eastern Oregon. The Yotes are led by Mackenzie Royce-Radford, who averages 11.9 points per game. Makenna Schritter leads on the rebounds with an average of 4.5.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 3-10 overall against the Yotes. College of Idaho has won the last four matchups. The last win for Evergreen came on Jan. 6, 2018 at home with a score of 56-53. The last win in Idaho was Feb. 21, 2014 with a score 73-69.
About Eastern Oregon: The Mountaineers are 19-7 overall and 13-3 in conference play. EOU won both games this past weekend against Walla Walla and are on a 10-game winning streak. The Mountaineers are led by Beverly Slater, who averages 12.4 points per game, Rachel Fielder averages 11.4 points per game and Jane Nelson averages 10.4 points per game. Slater leads on the rebounds with an average of 12.4.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 0-14 against EOU. The Geoducks lost on Jan. 10 in Olympia 88-63.
About Northwest: The Eagles are 8-17 overall and 6-9 in conference play. Northwest split its games last weekend against Multnomah and Warner Pacific. The Eagles are led by Sam Van Loo, who averages 12.4 points per game. Van Loo leads on the rebounds with an average of 7.7.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 3-9 overall against the Eagles. The Geoducks won at home earlier this season with a score 88-77. Northwest won the previous three meetings before then. The last win in Kirkland came on Jan. 4, 2014 with a score 69-61.
