Evergreen State College Track & Field programs continued their success of Friday's national qualifying mark by
Alauna Carstens with another school record and epic performance at the Peyton-Shotwell Invitational, held at University of Puget Sound's Baker Stadium.

For the second week in a row, junior
Jalyn Sackrider broker the Discus school record, while placing 2
nd at the invite, with a throw of 38.01 meters. "
Jalyn Sackrider continues to raise the bar in women's discus, taking second place in the meet and throwing another school record." Said Assistant Coach Brittany Hinchcliffe, "Jayln has her sights on securing the B standard for nationals this season!"

Braxton Claridy had another great weekend placing 2
nd in the 400 and 200 with 22.37 and 49.65, respectively.Â

"We've been looking forward to this four days straight of track & field competition," stated Head Coach Joel Pearson. "The first two days have been wonderful and we look forward to heading down to Forest Grove for the multis!"
