OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Evergreen State College women's wrestling team will take on conference opponents on Sunday, March 1 at the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Wrestling Championships, presented by U.S. Bank. The tournament will be hosted by Southern Oregon University at Reihm Arena in Ashland, Oregon. All eight CCC teams will be participating in the championship event.
Three of the teams were ranked in the NAIA Women's Wrestling Final Poll, with University of Providence (Mont.) at #3, Southern Oregon University tied at #10, and Evergreen at #20. Teams from Eastern Oregon University and Westcliff University (Calif.) received votes. Also competing at the CCC Championships will be Arizona Christian University, Hope International University (Calif.), and Simpson University (Calif.). Action will begin at 10 a.m. PST.

Workinger, Le, Taylor, and Tallman are nationally ranked in their weight classes in the final NAIA ratings for the 2025-26 season. Workinger is ranked #4 at 160 pounds. Le holds the #7 ranking at 138 pounds, and Taylor is ranked #8 at 124 pounds. Tallman, who owns the #17 ranking at 110 pounds this season, earned All-Conference honors at the 2024 CCC Championships two years ago.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference and other conferences award automatic bids per weight class to the NAIA Championships based on the final regular season poll. The automatic awards are based on the number of wrestlers ranked in each weight class. The CCC has received 26 automatic qualifiers for the 2026 NAIA Championship. The CCC allocations by weight class are: 103 pounds, 2; 110 pounds, 3; 117 pounds, 1; 124 pounds, 3; 131 pounds, 3; 138 pounds, 3; 145 pounds, 3; 160 pounds, 4; 180 pounds, 2; 207 pounds, 2.
