LAST YEAR: These teams met at this same time last year, Thanksgiving Eve, with the Geoducks stunning the Warriors, 83-71. 

LAST WEEK: The Geoducks opened the season last week with three games in four days – all in Tacoma – and came away empty handed, losing twice to Puget Sound and once to Pacific. The Loggers beat the Geoducks, 92-80, in the season opener for both teams on Wednesday, and two days later rolled to a 119-91 win in the Doug McArthur Classic. On Saturday night, Evergreen dropped an 87-74 decision to Pacific, also as part of the Doug McArthur Classic. 
 
GEODUCKS BY THE NUMBERS: Pat Ling and Dustin Meade are tied for the team scoring lead with 14.7 points per game, followed by Ryan Quigley at 14.0. Quigley is the rebounding leader with 8.0 per game, followed by Meade with 7.7 and Jaurence Chisholm with 7.3. Evergreen is shooting 49 percent as a team compared to 42 percent for its opponents, but is being out-scored 96-33 in three-point shooting. And while the Geoducks average 46.0 rebounds compared to 42.7 for their foes, they have turned the ball over a total of 92 times. That has been a key factor in Evergreen averaging 81.7 points and allowing 99.3.

ABOUT LCSC: The Warriors, 7-1, come into Costantino Recreation Center averaging 90.4 points per game while giving up 67.6. A pair of 6-6 forwards lead Lewis-Clark State, Race Martin averaging 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and Jeremy Franklin chipping in 12.8 points and 6.1 rebounds. Trea Thomas contributes with averages of 7.6 points and 5.1 assists per game.

WHAT'S AHEAD: Evergreen plays Pacific for the second time this season at 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Nov. 28, before opening the Cascade Collegiate Conference season on Friday, Dec. 1, against Warner Pacific in Portland, Ore.
