ABOUT EVERGREEN: The Geoducks seek their first conference win of the season – and would like to get two – on this Oregon road trip. Junior forward Ryan Quigley leads the team with 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and his 58.4 field goal percentage is third best in the conference. Senior post Jaurence Chisholm averages 10.0 points and 5.7 rebounds and shoots 57.0 percent from the field, while junior guard Pat Ling contributes 12.4 points and a team-best 3.7 assists per contest. The Geoducks average 69.5 points and allow 81.9 per game this season, though they are a plus 1.0 in rebounding margin.

ABOUT NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN: The Beacons are the two-time defending regular season conference champions but key graduation losses have them off to a 4-6 overall start, including 0-3 in the CCC, this campaign. Michael Loomis, a 6-6 senior forward, leads the way with 16.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Junior guard Kenny Blackwell has been a steadying force in the backcourt since his first year in Eugene.

RECENT RESULTS: In 20 games played since the 2007-08 campaign, Northwest Christian has won 12 and Evergreen has won eight, though the Beacons have defeated the Geoducks 11 out of the last 12 times the teams have played, including 89-72 and 104-90 victories last year.

ABOUT CORBAN: The Warriors lead all conference teams in scoring at 92.3 points per game and in scoring margin at plus 16.8. They love the three-point shot, hitting 40.6 percent from distance, with senior guard Chris Martin knocking down an average of 3.8 triples per game. He is the team's leading scorer at 16.1 points per game, followed by senior guard AJ Monterossi at 14.2 and 6-9 junior center Joel Johnson at 13.0. Johnson, who shoots a conference-leading 67.0 percent from the field, averages 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, while 6-5 senior forward Caleb Dozier leads the Warriors with 6.8 rebounds per contest.

RECENT RESULTS: For the second straight time in the series, Evergreen and Corban both won on their home courts last year after the Warriors had swept the Geoducks during the 2014-15 season. Both teams have 10 victories over the past 20 games dating back to the 2007-08 season.

PORTLAND BIBLE 65, EVERGREEN 61: Evergreen shot a season-best 53 percent from beyond the three-point line but came up short against visiting Portland Bible on Friday, Dec. 22, inside Costantino Recreation Center. Pat Ling scored a team-high 13 points while Dustin Meade was 4-for-7 from long range in tallying 12 points. Ryan Quigley and Jaurence Chisholm both scored 10 points and Quigley led the Geoducks to a 35-29 rebounding edge by grabbing a game-high eight boards.
