Madison Early had a goal in the first half, and Katelyn Gose had a goal in the second to give The Evergreen State College women's soccer team the 2-0 win over Northwest Christian on Friday at the Geoduck Pitch.

The was the first conference win for Evergreen. Alexis Backus was back in the net for the Geoducks and recorded the win.

Early had her goal at 20:33 with the assists from Ally Turkington and Sunny Bieber. At 49:13 Gose recorded her goal after the Beacon tried the clear it out from in front of the net.

Evergreen recorded 37 shots for the game with 15 on goal. NCU had one shot for the game.

The Geoducks are back in action at home on Saturday following the men's game. Evergreen will face Corban.
