The Evergreen State College men's basketball team will play its first home game in the Costantino Recreation Center on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. against Linfield College.
About Evergreen: Evergreen is currently 2-0 after winning both games at the Rose City Classic in Portland on Nov. 1-2. The Geoducks are led by Gloire Biongo, who averages 19.5 points a game and Elijah Fuller, who averages 16.5 points a game. Fuller leads the team with on rebounds with an average of 7.5.
About Linfield: The Wildcats are a Division III member and part of the Northwest Conference. Linfield is 2-1 overall this season defeating Whittier and Northwest and falling to Redlands. On Sunday, the Wildcats defeated Northwest 78-71. Linfield is led by Will Burghardt, who averages 16.3 points a game and Grant Gibb leads the defense with 5.0 rebounds a game.
Recent Results: Evergreen lost last season in Oregon 105-75. The Geoducks won the previous game at home in 2017-18 and won on a neutral site in 2014-15.
Coming Up: The Geoducks will face Division II member Central Washington in an exhibition game on Friday at 7 p.m. in Ellensburg, Wash. Evergreen will be back at home on Tuesday, Nov. 26 against Pacific Lutheran at 7 p.m.
