The Evergreen State College men's basketball team will face Puget Sound on Wednesday at home at 7 p.m., will see Portland in an exhibition game on Friday in Portland and close out the non-conference schedule on Monday, Dec. 16 against Lewis & Clark State College at home at 5 p.m.
About Evergreen: The Geoducks are 3-3 overall and fell to a couple of ranked conference teams this past weekend in Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon. Evergreen is led by Gloire Biongo, who averages 16 points per game, LaBrandon Price averages 13.5 points a game and Elijah Fuller, averages 12.5 points a game. Price leads on the rebounds with 6.2.
About Puget Sound: The Loggers are 5-3 on the season and won their last two games against Redlands and La Verne. Puget Sound is led by Stellan Roberts, who averages 22.5 points per game and Tyres Yussuf-Willis averages 12.7 points per game.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 0-5 against Puget Sound. The last three games have been in Tacoma, the last time the two teams faced in Olympia was in 2013-14.
About Lewis & Clark State College: The Warriors are 10-1 on the season, including splitting the games this past weekend. Lewis & Clark fell to Carroll and defeated Montana Tech. The Warriors are led by Josiah Westbrook and Trystan Bradley, who both average 13.3 points per game. Damek Mitchell averages 13 points a game.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 1-4 against the Pioneers. The Geoducks fell last season and the last win came in 2016-17.
Coming Up: After the non-conference game, Evergreen will face conference members Northwest Christian and Corban on the road on Dec. 20-21. Both games will be played at 7:30 p.m.
