The Evergreen State College men's basketball team will hit the road for the first time in 2020 after playing five games at home. Evergreen will face Multnomah on Friday and Warner Pacific on Saturday. Both games will be played at 7:30 p.m.
About Evergreen: The Geoducks are 3-12 overall and 0-9 in conference play. Evergreen is currently on a 11-game losing streak. The Geoducks played three games this past week falling to Northwest, Eastern Oregon and No. 5 The College of Idaho. Evergreen is led by LaBrandon Price, who averages 13.6 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game. Elijah Fuller averages 11.3 points per game.
About Multnomah: The Lions are currently 9-8 overall and 2-5 in conference play. MU is on a three-game winning streak and defeated Corban and Northwest Christian this past weekend. The Northwest Christian game went to overtime where Justin Martin broke the conference and his own record with 74 points. Martin is the leading scorer as he averages 34.7 points per game. Zach Richardson averages 16 points per game and Forrest Smith averages 12.4 points per game.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 2-6 overall against MU and currently, the Lions have won the last five games. The last win for the Geoducks came on Dec. 9, 2016 at home with a score of 99-95.
About Warner Pacific: WP is 8-9 overall and 4-5 in conference play. The Knights are currently on a four-game losing streak, including losing to Northwest Christian and Corban this past weekend. Warner Pacific is led by Kadeem Strickland, who averages 18 points per game, KJ Bosco averages 16.3 points per game and averages 8.0 rebounds per game. Eskari Carter averages 14 points per game and Stephon Shaw averages 13.7 points per game.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 1-11 overall against the Knights. The Geoducks have lost the last five games. The last win for Evergreen came on Dec. 10, 2016 with a score of 87-85.
