The Evergreen State College men's basketball team will close out the 2019-20 season on the road. The Geoducks will face College of Idaho on Friday, Eastern Oregon on Saturday and Northwest on Tuesday. All games will be played at 7:30 p.m.
About Evergreen: The Geoducks are 3-20 overall and 0-17 in conference play. Evergreen fell to Warner Pacific and Multnomah this past weekend. The Geoducks are led by LaBrandon Price, who averages 14.9 points per game and Elijah Fuller averages 13.1 points per game. Price leads on the rebounds with an average of 5.8.
About College of Idaho: The Yotes are 23-3 overall and 16-0 in conference play. College of Idaho is currently on a 17-game winning streak and defeated Warner Pacific and Eastern Oregon this past weekend. The Yotes are led by Nate Bruneel, who averages 13.9 points per game and Talon Pinckney averages 10.4 points per game. Jake Bruner leads on the rebounds with an average of 5.5.
Recent Results: The Yotes hold the 13-0 record. Evergreen fell earlier this season in January in Olympia with a score 67-53.
About Eastern Oregon: The Mountaineers are 13-12 overall and 7-9 in conference play. EOU defeated Walla Walla this past weekend. The Mountaineers are led by Max McCullough, who averages 20.4 points per game, Jarek Schetzle averages 18.7 points per game and Landon Jones averages 14.4 points per game. Jones leads on the rebounds with an average of 9.8.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 0-13 overall against the Mountaineers. The Geoducks fell in January 83-80 at home.
About Northwest: The Eagles are 16-8 overall and 11-4 in conference play. Northwest defeated Multnomah and Warner Pacific this past weekend. The Eagles are led by Hussayn Ford, who averages 17.2 points per game, Christian Hakilimali averages 14.4 points per game and Ryan Ricks averages 13.4 points per game. Ford leads on the rebounds with an average of 12.0.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 3-10 overall against Northwest. The Geoducks have lost the last seven games against the Eagles, including in January in Olympia. The last win came on Jan. 12, 2016 in Olympia with a score of 84-79. The last win in Kirkland was on Dec. 1, 2015 with a score 79-71.
