The Evergreen State College men's basketball team will celebrate its seniors this weekend in the final home games of the 2019-2020 season. The Geoducks will see Warner Pacific on Friday and Multnomah on Saturday. Both games are played at 7:30 p.m.
About Evergreen: The
Geoducks are 3-18 overall and 0-15 in conference play. Evergreen played a couple of ranked teams last weekend and fell in both games. The Geoducks are led by
LaBrandon Price, who averages 15.2 points per game and leads on the rebounds with an average of 5.6.
Elijah Fuller averages 12.5 points per game and
Gloire Biongo averages 10.6 points per game.
About Warner Pacific: WP is 12-11 and 7-7 in conference play. The Knights fell to Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho this past weekend. Warner Pacific is led by Kadeem Strickland, who averages 15.8 points per game, Stephon Shwa averages 13.6 points per game, Kendall Watson averages 12.1 points per game and Miles Brown averages 11.8 points per game. Kaleb Topkins leads on the rebounds with an average of 6.7 per game.
Recent Results: WP holds the 12-1 record over the Geoducks. The Knights won in January in Portland with a score of 93-69 and have won the last six times. The last win for Evergreen was On Dev. 10, 2016 at home with a score of 87-85.
About Multnomah: The Lions are 12-12 overall and 5-9 in conference play. Multnomah split its games this last weekend falling to College of Idaho and defeated Eastern Oregon. The Lions are led by Justin Martin, who averages 33.9 points per game, Zach Richardson averages 15.2 points per game, Forrest Smith averages 12.5 points per game and Jaeden Ingram averages 10.1 points per game. Stepan Zavydovsky leads on the rebounds with an average of 6.6.
Recent Results: The Lions hold the 7-2 record over Evergreen. The last time these two teams met in Portland in January the game needed to go to overtime and Multnomah came out on top 104-98. The Lions have won the last six games. The last win for Evergreen came on Dec. 9, 2016 with a score 99-95.
