The Geoducks, who sat out the 2020 season due to COVID, will open the 2021 season on the road at Linfield on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Evergreen will then play three more non-conference games before opening the Cascade Collegiate Conference play on the road at Southern Oregon on Sept. 17^th.

About the Geoducks: Evergreen is returning two key players from the 2019 season, including leading scorer in Madison Early, who had five goals, one assist in 27 shots on goal in 2019. The Geoducks brought in nine players to add to the team and are returning seven players from the 2019 squad. Evergreen is under the direction of Steve Schmidt, who is in his third season with the Geoducks and second with competition.

About Linfield: The Wildcats will open the season at home against Evergreen. Linfield played an exhibition game on Aug. 24^th against Western Oregon and lost. The Wildcats went 7-1 overall and in conference play last season and won their last five games. Evergreen is 0-2 overall against Linfield falling 0-3 in 2015 and 0-1 in 2017.

Next Home Contest: Evergreen will play six games on the road before opening the season at home on September 24th at 3 p.m. against Rocky Mountain College. A close game for the Geoducks will be just up the I-5 to Saint Martin's University on Monday, September 13^th at 3:30 p.m.
