The Evergreen State College Track & Field programs opened their 2024 campaign with rewriting school records for the Geoducks while competing at the University of Washington Indoor Preview Meet held at Dempsey Indoor complex.

Corona Parker, competing in the High Jump, got the Geoducks off to an epic start with clearing 1.45m, 1.50m, and heighted 1.55 meters, all in single attempts, smashing the previous school record of 1.46 held by Tati Hankins in 2012.

Assistant Coach Scott Copeland reflect, "Parker continued her event prowess by shattering Evergreen's Indoor High Jump record, by clearing 1.55 meters, and placed ninth against strong NCAA D1 competition."

Later in the day
Alauna Carstens completed in the 3,000 Meters placing 9
th in her heat, with a time of 9:53.37, destroying the former school record of 10:40.92 by Ana Casillas in 2006.
