OLYMPIA, Wash. –
Bradley Graham (Jr., G) from The Evergreen State College men's basketball team is the Evergreen Featured Athlete of the Week for April 25, 2025. Graham is from Federal Way, Washington, where he graduated from Federal Way High School. He attended Highline College before transferring to Evergreen.
Graham contributed to the Geoducks throughout the 2024-25 season. He ranked second on the team in scoring with 289 points and 12.6 points per game. He also was second on the team with 48 assists (2.1 avg.). He tied for the team lead with 38 three-point baskets and shot 40.0% from behind the 3-point arc. Graham converted 81.0% of his free throws (47 of 58).
In Evergreen's road game against Walla Walla University on Jan. 25, Graham scored a career-high 22 points and earned a career-high nine assists. He scored 21 points against Oregon Tech on Jan. 31 and produced 21 points against Eastern Oregon University on Feb. 22.
Evergreen was the right choice for Graham after spending two seasons at Highline in Des Moines, Washington. He was glad to be able to continue his education and basketball career and still be near Federal Way.
"I chose Evergreen because it offered me the best opportunity to continue playing basketball and earn my degree close to home," Graham commented. "I wanted to go somewhere where I could make a real impact on the court, and more importantly, where I could graduate without taking out any major student loans."
Graham was a key part of the basketball team for the Geoducks. He provided scoring and great passing, while helping guide the team on the court.
"My biggest strengths are my shooting, ball-handling, and leadership," Graham said. "One thing I take pride in is always being a player my teammates and coaches can rely on, whether that means creating offense, handling pressure, or leading my teammates."

He's happy to be around his teammates on the court and away from the court as well.
"What I love most is the bond we build as a team," Graham said. "The friendships we create turn into something that goes beyond basketball. It's a connection that will last long after our basketball careers are over."
One of his top memories from this past season was a road game at Warner Pacific University on Feb. 8. It was a victory for the Geoducks.
"We were missing several players due to sickness, had only seven guys suited up, and we were far from being in playoff contention, but we still went out there and beat a higher-ranked team on the road," Graham recalled. "Off the court, it's hard to pick just one moment. This was the funniest, most connected team."
In addition to practicing and playing basketball games in the Costantino Recreation Center, Graham also works in the CRC.
"My main responsibilities at the CRC include checking out equipment, taking space counts, and helping maintain the facility," Graham explained. "It's a simple job, but I really enjoy it because I get to see the other athletes and see the different kinds of strength training each sport focuses on. I'm pretty passionate about weightlifting, so it's cool for me to see how training varies across the different sports."
As a student, Graham is focusing on business and finance. His goal "is to start out in accounting, gain experience at a firm, and eventually work my way up to becoming a chief financial officer or financial controller for a company."
Prior to attending college at Highline and Evergreen, Graham had an outstanding basketball career at Federal Way High School. He was named First Team All-League in the North Puget Sound league twice and his team competed at the Washington Class 3A State Tournament twice.
"Being named First Team All-League in the NPSL was an incredible feeling, especially since it is such a big league," Graham said. "I felt like I deserved it my sophomore year, so I made it a personal goal to earn First Team honors the next two years, and achieving that meant a lot to me.
"Competing in the state tournament was unforgettable," Graham added. "During my junior year, we had the opportunity to play on some legendary courts like the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame court in Massachusetts, and The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. Even with all those experiences, nothing matched the energy and atmosphere of the Tacoma Dome during the State Tournament."
