OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The Evergreen State College men's wrestling team received votes in the final NAIA Men's Wrestling Top 25 Poll of the 2025-26 season releases on Feb. 11. The Geoducks received votes in the poll throughout the season. In the final individual rankings,
Horacio Godinez (So.) of Evergreen was ranked #25 in the 141-pound weight class.
The #1 team in the NAIA is Grand View University (Iowa), which returned to the top ranking after falling to #2 in the previous poo. Life University (Ga.) dropped from #1 back into the #2 ranking this week. In the final rankings, Grand View had 260 points while Life garnered 256 points. Southeastern University (Fla.) stayed at #3 with 229 points.
Oklahoma City University moved up one spot to #4 in the final poll with 172 points. Indiana Tech fell one spot to #5 with 164 points. Southern Oregon University from the Cascade Collegiate Conference remained at #6 with 152 points.
Southern Oregon was one of six CCC teams ranked in the Top 25. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) was #9 and University of Providence (Mont.) was listed at #12. Arizona Christian University was tied at #19, while Corban University and Eastern Oregon University were tied for #23. Evergreen, Montana State University-Northern, and Simpson University (Calif.) received votes.
Godinez retained the #25 ranking in the men's individual listings for the 141-pound weight class. Including a win during Evergreen's 33-24 win over Linfield University on Feb. 12, Godinez has achieved a 30-3 record this season.
Up next for Evergreen will be the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships set for Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 21 in Salem, Oregon. The CCC meet will be held at the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center on the Corban University campus.
