Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Jasmine Berlin scored her first goal of the season to tie the game midway through the first half but The Evergreen State College couldn't hold off host Great Falls as the Argonauts took a 4-1 Cascade Collegiate Conference women's soccer win on Saturday afternoon.

Great Falls (5-3-4 overall, 2-3-3 CCC) took a 1-0 lead in the 8th minute on a goal by Alejandra Guzman, finishing Sarah Howell's cross from the right wing.

Berlin, a junior defender for Evergreen (2-9-0, 2-5-0), got onto the score sheet in the 24th minute, bending a shot into the left corner from about 15 yards out. Vanessa Zamora, who along with Berlin had two shots on goal, picked up her first assist of the season.

The Argonauts had the run of play through the remainder of the first half and made it pay with goals from Guzman in the 32nd minute pn an assist from Lauren Ozdowski and Jessica Watts in the 37th minute with Guzman getting the assist.

After halftime the Geoducks gained control with a 6-2 advantage in shots and 4-1 edge in corner kicks. Despite that, Great Falls was the only team to get on the board as Madison Quinn put up the final tally in the 76th minute, with the assist again going to Ozdowski.

Great Falls ended up with a 17-11 edge in shots while Evergreen had a 6-4 margin in corner kicks.

Kayla Baskett handled the work in goal for the Geoducks and picked up five saves, while Brandi Wegerle had five saves in 90 minutes of work for the Argos.

The Great Falls match brings an end to Evergreen's 2015 regular season road schedule as the team plays its final four matches at Geoduck Pitch, including a noon contest next Friday against College of Idaho.
