Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – Danny Powell poured in 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds on Saturday night but The Evergreen State College found itself on the losing end of a 94-65 decision to host Lewis-Clark State College at the Clearwater River Casino and Lodge Invitational.

The Warriors (5-0) shot 58 percent from the field and 55 percent from beyond the three-point arc compared to just 36 percent overall and 19 percent from three-point range for the Geoducks (1-4).

Powell continued his solid play this season, shooting 7-for-14 from the floor, including 2-for-4 from long range, in addition to going 6-for-8 at the charity stripe. He was joined in double figures by Alix Hernandez with 13 points and Brock Otis with 12. The Geoducks were credited with only six assists, four of those by point guard Jarrick Mitchell.

Jacob Wiley led LCSC's balanced scoring attack with 16 points, shooting 8-for-10 from the field. Nick Emerson added 12 points, Cammie Lewis has 10 and five other players scored at least seven points. Zavon Jackson pulled down 11 rebounds for the Warriors, who as a team grabbed 39 boards compared to 34 for Evergreen.

Powell earned all-tournament honors after tallying 44 points and 19 rebounds in Evergreen's two games.

The Geoducks are back in action at 7 p.m. next Friday when they host Northwest Indian College at CRC Gymnasium.
