Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. - Warner Pacific shot nearly 65 percent during the game in defeating The Evergreen State College, 94-75, in a Cascade Collegiate Conference men's basketball game played Friday night at Bart Valentine Court.
The Knights, ranked No. 17 in the NAIA Division II Top 25 poll, improved to 21-6 overall and they are 11-4 in the conference, second place behind No. 4-ranked College of Idaho. Evergreen is now 4-18 for the season and 1-14 in the CCC.
As they did in a January victory over the Geoducks in Olympia, the taller Knights worked the ball inside for points near the basket, and they also found the range from beyond the three-point line. They led by as many as 28 points in the first half before settling for a 53-26 advantage at halftime. Their largest lead of 34 points came with about five minutes to play.
Warner Pacific ended up shooting .645 overall (40-for-62) and .500 (10-for-20) from long range. After shooting just .310 in the opening half, the Geoducks improved from the field and ended up with a .431 shooting percentage.
Jordan Dam was on target from beyond the three-point line, going 6-for-8 to lead the Geoducks with 22 points.

Warner Pacific's leading scorer, Doug Thomas, paced his team on this night with 18 points, and other Knights in double figures were Earl Jones with 12 and Michael Hall and Coletun Carr with 11.
The Geoducks play their final road game of the season tomorrow night when they face the No. 13-ranked Concordia Cavaliers.
