Emily Uhlig was inducted into the Evergreen Recreation and Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024.

Emily Uhlig graduated from Evergreen with an emphasis in Liberal Arts. She competed in cross country and track and field. She qualified for the NAIA National Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the marathon. 

She set records for the Geoducks in cross country and also earned indoor school records at 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters. She established outdoor school records in the steeplechase, indoor 5,000-meter run, and half-marathon. In the Cascade Collegiate Conference, she placed second and third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Uhlig experienced success in USA Track and Field in the 50-kilometer run, receiving USATF All-America honors four times. She placed nationally at the USATF Championships in the 50k four times. In 2011, she was fourth in the 50k and was 5th in the 50k trail run. In 2012, she placed fifth in the 50k and was fourth in the 50k trail run. Uhlig placed ninth in the 15-kilometer run at the USATF Championships in 2011.

Her career best time in the 50-kilometer run was 3:51:31 (7:31 per mile). She won four marathons during her career.
