The Evergreen State College Athletics

Purtteman coached the men's soccer team for 15 seasons with a compiled conference record of 92 wins – 79 losses – 27 draws and coached the women's team for three seasons. He received Cascade Conference Coach of the Year honors in 2012 and 2016. His top season was in 2015, when the team finished 13-3-2, with a .778 winning percentage, establishing a new Evergreen men's soccer single-season record.
