Maxton Hauser scored the only goal at 24:04 on a header to give The Evergreen State College men's soccer team the 1-0 win over Northwest Christian Friday afternoon at the Geoduck Pitch.

Mitchell Balmer crossed the ball over to the middle of the net and Hauser had his goal.

Hunter Bowman recorded the win for Evergreen as he had two saves

Evergreen recorded 20 shots for the game with nine on goal.

The Beacon had 12 shots for the game with two on goal. Eight of their shots came in the first half.

The Geoducks will be back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. on the Geoduck Pitch to face Corban.
