Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Evergreen came back to tie the match early in the second half but No. 1 Corban scored a goal in the 89th minute to take the 4-3 win over the Geoducks on Wednesday in the semifinals of the Cascade College Conference Men's Soccer Tournament presented by U.S. Bank.
The Warriors were the first to get on the scoreboard at 2:18 and 11:17. Both goals were scored by Camillo Avendano.
Evergreen had an answer at 28:29 by Josh Dubinsky and assisted by Wylie Suda. That was Dubinsky's first goal on the season. Corban had an answer at 34:34 by Miguel Rodriguez and the Warriors took a 3-2 lead into the half.
After the half, Lucas Alcala scored a goal at 43:23 with the assist from Tino Pantaleon. That was Alcala's third goal on the season.
After a foul, Pantaelon scored a goal on a penalty kick to tie the match at three. Avendano scored the game-winning goal at 89:01 to record the hat trick and give Corban the win.
Evergreen recorded four shots for the game with all four on goal. The Warriors had 15 shots for the match with eight on goal.
Tristan Glaser was back in the net for the Geoducks and recorded four saves. Justin Keegan recorded the win for Corban and had one save.
